I put LEDs in the instrument panel, including replacing the burnt out bulb behind the “climate control.” I also cleaned the built up dust from inside the gauges. They sound like small details, but they are big to me.
There was a lot of grime in there.

I replaced the burnt out bulbs in my Explorer. It made a world of difference.

Cool! Did you get dimmable ones?

I’d love to do a LED light swap in my gauge cluster, but with the amount of random electrical gremlins in my Subaru, I’m just not going to bother with it.

After I ruined a freshly rebuilt set of gauges, seeing an open cluster like that makes me really uncomfortable...
Glad the Sunchaser is getting some excellent treatment.

New dash bulbs and a cleaning of the lens can really make it feel like a whole new car from the driver’s seat - nice work!

sunchaser has gone all high tech! (I’ve been looking at those whole car “kits”... but pushed back to my “C” priority list at this point...)

This is something I want to do to my FIAT 126 when I finally get around importing it. I mean...it has like....a speedo and a fuel gauge. So, not hard to change the bulbs out. LEDs barely burn out, you can customize the color to your tastes....it’s a win win :)
Good jorb! Guessing you went with a factory-ish color?
